On Monday President Obama called the tremendous spike in apprehensions of unaccompanied illegal alien children an “urgent humanitarian situation” and named a federal coordinator to make sure the children are cared for. He offered no plan to reduce the growing influx encouraged by his lax enforcement of our nation’s immigration laws. In fact, the White House predicts the number will more than double in 2015, and has already asked Congress for $1.4 billion for assisting the illegals.
“Our primary mission is to ensure the [youth] are properly cared for,” said Cecilia Munoz, Obama’s top domestic policy adviser and former head of the National Council of La Raza.
