Parolees Probably Will Stay.

The 400,000 illegal migrants admitted under the Biden Administration’s parole program probably won’t ever go home. Officially these migrants, from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela, are supposedly admitted for a period of two years. But this supposed limit probably won’t apply, according to authorities recently interviewed by the New York Post.

Former ICE Director Tom Harmon observed that “They’re overwhelming the system [which] more than likely will result in these people staying here forever.” Former ICE field office director John Fabbricatore added that migrants who overstay their two-year terms most likely won’t be deported. Under its existing guidelines, the Biden Administration only deports aliens with serious criminal records.

As written in the law, parole is supposed to be granted on a limited, case-by-case basis, rather than the administration’s current policy of large-scale blanket parole.
