A large mass of Middle Eastern ‘refugees,’ estimated to number 1,500, attempted to break through Hungary’s border fence. They threw rocks and bottles at the police who were forced to respond with tear gas. During the attack the assailants shouted the Islamic battle cry “Allah hu Akbar” (God is great).
