Pa Gov: “Migrants Just Passing Through”

A couple of days ago we reported on those mysterious nighttime flights coming into a Pennsylvania airport, apparently bringing in, under the cover of darkness, illegal aliens who were then being transferred to buses for parts unknown. Various Pennsylvania officials and candidates had queried Democrat Governor Tom Wolf about the practice, but at that time, no response to their questions had been issued.

Yesterday, however, Gov. Wolf did respond, telling Fox News in a statement that “the migrant flights that arrived at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport on Dec. 11, 17 and 25 were not ending their journey there, instead passing through on the way to their guardians and sponsors.”

Oh, so those of us who maybe assumed the illegals would be making a new life at the Wilkes Barre/Scranton airport hangar had it all wrong. They were “just passing through.” To exactly where, Wolf didn’t say.

Besides, it’s not his job. “Immigration is a federal matter,” the governor insisted, and any such impertinent questions should be directed to the federal government. So there.
