Border Patrol Nabs 172 Illegal Migrants

On May 4, Border Patrol agents in the Rio Grande Valley Sector of Texas successfully blocked five separate human smuggling attempts and in the process apprehended 172 illegal migrants.

In the morning of May 4, assisted by Starr County Sheriff’s deputies, CBP agents arrested 64 migrants being kept in a Rio Grande City, Texas, stash house.  The migrants were natives of Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and El Salvador.

Later that evening, agents in the Weslaco Border Patrol Station investigated a stash house in Donna, Texas, where they found another 53 illegals, all from Mexico and Central America.

In addtion, another 55 migrants in three additional cases were taken into custody, bringing the day’s catch to 172.

  1. That’s nice. The big question everyone wants to know, where do they go from here. I don’t think we’re gonna like the answer.
