Multicultural diversity is not a source of strength in France. Recently, a thousand active and retired French service members, including 20 retired generals, signed a letter to President Emmanuel Macron stating that the diversity caused by immigration is pushing France to the brink of civil war.
Government officials and the media condemned the letter, but a Harris Interactive poll found that 58 percent of the French people “support the words” of the service members. The letter concluded by warning Macron that “It is no longer the time to procrastinate, otherwise tomorrow civil war will put an end to this growing chaos and deaths – for which you will be responsible – with numbers in the thousands.”
