The man running President Obama’s amnesty said Tuesday that one reason for the “temporary” program was to get millions of illegals working on the books, making it economically impossible for them ever to be deported by a future president. Leon Rodriguez, speaking to his employees at U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, said illegals shouldn’t fear coming forward because the amnesty will cement their place in American society.
His comments came the same day that Obama, speaking to an Hispanic group, said that he doubted any future administration would want to repeal his policy for fear of running afoul of voters.
