Senate Bill Lavishes Money on Ukraine, Israel

Facing Republican opposition in the House, the Senate has cut the border provisions out of the bill they’ve labored over for so long and advanced the huge remainder along for further debate.

Currently, the original $118 billion has been pared down to a mere $95.34 billion, which doles out the following:

  • $61 billion for Ukraine fighting a losing war against Russia
  • $14 billion for Israel teetering on the brink of a wider war in the MIddle East
  • $4.83 billion for Taiwan and elsewhere within China’s orbit
  • $9.15 billion to civilians in Gaza and the West Bank, Ukraine, and other populations throughout the world

That’s $95 billion American citizens are expected to pay at tax time of which they will never again see a dime (unless they’re Raytheon, Boeing, Lockheed, or — should the worst happen –a South Florida real estate firm catering to oligarchs in exile). Meanwhile, the invasion across our southern border continues. The Democrats and Republicans who staged this giveaway bill call it a “national security” bill. Maybe, but it’s not for the security of this nation.
