A recent Rasmussen poll of likely voters found that most oppose granting equal rights and protections to illegal aliens. Sixty-eight said they oppose these benefits for illegals. Nineteen percent supported them, and 13 percent were not sure. Seventy-one percent said they should not get government services and benefits, sixteen percent said they should, and 13 percent were not sure. The poll came out shortly after the Obama Administration announced that it will allocate $9 million to provide lawyers for some of the recently arrived illegal aliens from Central America.
