In an attempt to encourage illegal aliens and others living in the city without identification to accept a free municipal ID, leftist mayor Bill de Blasio announced this week that those who participate will receive a wide-range of free city perks.
Those who sign up for the municipal ID will be offered free membership to 33 of the city’s institutions — from Carnegie Hall to zoos throughout the city. The New York Post estimates the value of the benefits to be over $2,000.
