Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, in a private meeting with Border Patrol agents, admitted that the situation on the border is “unsustainable.” He added that “We can’t continue like this, our people in the field can’t continue and our system isn’t built for it.” He conceded that border control has come close to “breaking.”
Mayorkas’s statements were leaked to FOX News. It would be helpful if the rest of the Biden Administration would publicly confirm them.
