Carlson Right About Replacement

The Quote Below: More Misinformation from the Media:

“After Fox News host Tucker Carlson doubled down on his support of the white nationalist ‘great replacement’ conspiracy theory this week, prominent white nationalists across America expressed glee at what they saw as a possible mass radicalization event. . .

“During Thursday’s prime-time show, Carlson said: ‘Now, I know that the left and all the little gatekeepers on Twitter become literally hysterical if you use the term ‘replacement,’ if you suggest that the Democratic Party is trying to replace the current electorate, the voters now casting ballots, with new people, more obedient voters from the Third World. But … let’s just say it: That’s true.’ . . .

“Immigration, Carlson added, is part of an effort to “dilute the political power of the people” by altering who lives here. ‘Every time they import a new voter, I become disenfranchised as a current voter,’ he said. . . . This is a conspiracy theory cited in the writings of some of the worst white nationalist mass murderers . . . .

“Carlson then went further: ‘Demographic change is the key to the Democratic Party’s political ambitions,’ he said, adding that ‘Democrats plan to change the population of the country’ in order to win elections.

“White nationalists quickly picked up on the barely concealed subtext of ‘demographic change.’ . . .  White nationalists love to talk about widening the “Overton window” — a term for the range of acceptable political discussion — to better include their vile ideas. . . .

“Angelo Carusone, president of the liberal media watchdog group Media Matters, fears that when it comes to the ‘great replacement,’ the Overton window has been thrown wide open. . . .Carlson has been laying the groundwork for decades to openly support the ‘great replacement’ theory on Fox News, Carusone said, pointing to the ways in which he’s repeatedly fearmongered on air about immigrants ‘invading’ the country, . . .

“Carusone and Media Matters have been at the forefront of documenting Carlson’s bigotry for years. This experience has led him to a conclusion he knows might sound unbelievable to some.

“ ’Unless we interrupt that trend line and short circuit” what Carlson is doing, Carusone argued, ‘the inevitable end in all of this is what Carlson has been talking about for quite some time, which is a race war. That’s what this guy wants. It’s what he advocates for. It’s what he believes.’ . . . . ‘I mean that Tucker Carlson wants white people to start killing people of color,’ he said.  — Tucker Carlson Is Giving ‘Red Pills’ to Millions. White Nationalists Are Thrilled, Christopher Mathias, Huffington Post, 4/15/21 [Link]

Fact Check of Quote Above: Population replacement through immigration is not a “conspiracy theory,” but a well-acknowledged demographic fact. In terms of race, whites will become a minority of the U.S. population in a little more than 20 years, if present trends of immigration continue. One who acknowledges this reality, and likes it, is President Joe Biden. A few years ago he stated that “[The] unrelenting stream of immigration” will be “nonstop”. . . . Folks like me, who are Caucasian of European descent, for the first time . . . will be an absolute minority in the United States of America. Absolute minority. Fewer than 50 percent of the people in America from then and on will be white, European stock. That’s not a bad thing. That’s a source of our strength.” One doesn’t have to be a white nationalist to find such a statement offensive. Imagine if it were said about any other group in America.

In any case, Tucker Carlson is not a white nationalist. He does not view replacement in terms of race, but in terms of culture and politics. This too is a demographic fact, and no conspiracy theory. Specifically, it involves the left-ward shift of U.S. politics toward one-party rule of the Democratic Party. This trend is easy to verify. Due in large part to mass immigration, California has shifted from red to hard-core blue. Other states, such as Virginia, Georgia, and Arizona are following a similar path. The essential reason is that immigrants vote Democratic by a margin of two-to-one. Top Democratic strategist Robert Creamer was no conspiracy theorist when he stated in his book How Progressives Can Win that votes from immigrants are the key to Democrats seizing permanent control of American politics.

There is nothing wrong with a party using persuasion to win a majority, but Tucker Carlson is completely right to object when a party seeks to dilute the votes of native-born citizens with imported voters who will change our culture and election outcomes. Mathias’ outrage against Carlson suggests that the FOX anchor has hit a nerve by telling the simple truth. This is evident as Mathias cites the deranged rantings of Angelo Carusone, of Media Matters, a radical-left outfit funded in part by open-borders billionaire George Soros. Angelo offers no evidence for his fervid claim that Carlson wants to incite a race war. The reason is that so such evidence exists.

At the same time much evidence indicates that the radical left wants to use mass immigration as a means to destabilize our society and pave the way for radical control. An expose of this strategy is William Hawkins’ book Importing Revolution. As is often the case. the radical-left seeks to hide its evil motives by imputing them to others.
