National Border Patrol Council (NBPC) Vice President Chris Cabrera expressed strong criticism of Joe Biden’s proposal for immigration law enforcement. The NBPC is the union representing Border Patrol agents.
Biden, who is now the front-running Democratic presidential contender, declared that “In the first 100 days of my administration, no one, no one will be deported at all. From that point on, the only deportations that will take place are commissions of felonies in the United States of America.”
Cabrera stated that such a policy would invite a “rush” of illegal aliens. “With rhetoric like that,” he continued, “it’s just going to open the [border] floodgates once again. It will put our guys more at risk and it will put our country more at risk.”
