A coalition the attorneys general in 27 states is petitioning the Biden Administration to end policies which are allowing the mass release of illegal aliens into the United States. Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares noted that in many instances these aliens can remain in the U.S. for 15 years or more before having to appear before a judge.
“I’m calling on the Biden Administration,” said Miyares, “to take immediate action to secure our southern border by swiftly amending the catch-and-release loophole the Department of Homeland Security continues to shamelessly exploit. If the Biden Administration actually wants to take effective steps to invest in public safety, I cannot think of a more urgent place for it to start.”
