Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) told acting U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Director Ken Cuccinelli that “You and Mr. Trump do not want anyone who looks or talks differently than Caucasians [sic] Americans to be allowed in this country.” She added that “You want to block all immigration and make life harder for immigrants, and you have demonstrated you will pursue this heinous, white supremacist ideology at all costs.”
To these charges Cuccinelli replied, “That’s false. That’s defamatory. . . . “I am not a white supremacist, as you alluded, nor is the president.”
No one in the Trump Administration has proposed to “block all immigrants” or limit immigration on the basis of race. “White supremacist” is a racial slur that mass immigration advocates increasingly employ to demean and silence their opponents.
