Trump Outlines Immigration Plans

In a column in the Des Moines Register GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump outlined the immigration policies he would pursue if elected. He began by stating that “On my first day back in office, I will terminate every open borders policy of the Biden Administration and immediately restore the full set of strong Trump border policies.”

The former president said he would initiate a “record-setting deportation operation” to expel the “millions of illegal aliens” who have entered during the Biden Administration. To achieve that goal Trump said he would “shift massive portions of federal law enforcement to immigration enforcement.”
