Terrorists, Violent Criminals Crossing Our Border

On Monday, April 5, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency reported that over the past two months agents had arrested two suspected terrorists attempting to cross the border from Mexico. The two men were not identified by name but photographs modified to conceal their identities were provided.

On the left is a 33-year-old native of Yemen arrested at approximately 1:10 a.m. on January 29, three miles west of the Calexico Port of Entry. The man was found to be on the FBI’s Terrorism Watch List as well as on the No-Fly list. A search revealed a cellular phone sim card hidden in his shoe.

Curiously, Monday’s press release was soon removed from the CBP website, officially because it was “not properly reviewed and contained certain disclosure and policy information related to national security.” The document is still accessible, however, on the web archive site.

The CBP says its agents regularly encounter illegal border crossers from various so-called “Special Interest Countries,” suggesting terrorist connections. For example, in February agents arrested 11 Iranians at the border in Arizona.

Terrorists are not the only dangerous individuals crossing illegally into the United States. Breitbart News reported Monday that an unnamed law enforcement source has told them that 4,500 criminal aliens had been arrested at the border within the past six months. To be labeled a “criminal alien,” an individual must have been convicted of a crime such as murder, rape, sexual assault, burglary, robbery, or narcotics trafficking.

During that same period, an estimated 130,000 aliens have crossed into America without detection. No one knows how many of those “gotaways” are terrorists or violent criminals. Judging by the lack of concern shown by the Biden White House, no one there cares.
