Tea Party vs. Establishment on Border Bill

Legislation to deal with the illegal alien crisis in Texas is becoming a fight between conservative lawmakers who want to fight the Obama policies that have invited the invasion, and the GOP establishment that accepts Obama’s excuse that the sudden flood is due to the 2008 human trafficking law.  Leading the effort to confront Obama’s lawless open borders policies are Senators Jeff Sessions (R-AL) and Ted Cruz (R-TX).  The establishment players who prefer the Obama “remedy” of tinkering with the human trafficking law and spending billions for caring for the illegals, include Speaker John Boehner (R-OH), Rep. Kay Granger (R-TX), and Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX).

Sen. Sessions warns that there will be more executive-action lawlessness from Obama — specifically another amnesty edict — if the president isn’t stopped, and that will encourage an even greater flood of illegals.
