Immigration commentator Dave Gibson has strong words for the officials in “sanctuary” jurisdictions who refuse to assist the efforts of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to remove illegal aliens. He stated:
“[I]t is vital that all Americans understand the devastating impact that illegal immigration is having upon our nation, and particularly upon those families who have lost loved ones due to the criminal actions of those here illegally. It is equally important to understand that various public officials whose inaction in removing, and in many cases, protecting those illegal aliens, are every bit as culpable for those deaths as are the illegal aliens who actually pulled the trigger or made the fatal decision to drive drunk.”
