Department of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson announced on Thursday that Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (“DACA”) edict has been expanded to include illegals who came to the U.S. on their own as children, not just those brought here by illegal alien parents, because they were not “making an adult choice to break our laws.” Most of the MSM simply reported that the administration had renewed the original DACA edict issued in June, 2012 for two more years. The new announcement also allows DREAMers to have three misdemeanor convictions before they are ineligible for the amnesty.
The announcement says that as of April, 2014, 560,000 aliens have been approved for DACA. No mention was made of the current crisis at our southern border where tens of thousands of alien minors are crossing illegally, encouraged by the Obama lax deportation policies.
