Senator Jeff Sessions (R-AL) said on Friday that it is a “scandal” that the Obama administration will allow so-called “DREAMer” illegals to not only have deportation “deferred” but also apply for “advance parole” that puts them on the path to citizenship. “Our laws have been dismantled, stripped bare,” said Sessions, Chairman of the Subcommittee on Immigration and the National Interest.
“Perhaps this newest scandal will finally provide our Senate Democrat colleagues with reason enough to end their filibuster…” he said. He noted that this is just the latest revelation about the Obama executive actions: “We’ve learned that illegal immigrants will be given billions in free cash tax credits. We’ve learned that illegal immigrants will be given trillions in lifetime federal entitlement benefits through Social Security and Medicare.”
