More H-1B Visas Approved under Biden

Many American companies hire foreign workers with temporary H-1B visas because they can pay them less and exploit them more than American workers. The Trump Administration tried to crack down on these practices by turning down more H-1B applications. In Fiscal Year 2018 the rejection rate was 24 percent; 21 percent in FY 2019; and 13 percent in FY 2020.

Under the Biden Administration, in FY 2020, the rejection rate plummeted to four percent. A writer for Forbes magazine thinks this is a good thing.
