Fact Check of Above Article: This editorial endorses the lie that most illegal aliens are “asylum seekers” who have every right to enter our country and remain. Nothing could be farther from the truth. The grounds for asylum are limited to certain types of political persecution. You aren’t entitled to asylum simply because life in your country is unpleasant or you want the opportunity to make more money. Illegal alien advocates don’t care about such legal distinctions. They push amnesty as an excuse for unfettered migration.
Another false claim of this editorial is that the Biden Administration will try to “scare” migrants not to come here. In reality, it is rolling out the red carpet for them. In testimony before Congress, DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas revealed that his goal with respect to the current migration was “building . . . orderly, legal pathways for people to obtain relief under our laws.” He made no mention of any steps to stop it.
The editorial cites deployment 1,500 National Guard troops as a strict Biden measure. In doesn’t mention that their only job is processing the migrants to make their passage more “orderly.” If anyone wants to understand the “root cause” of the present massive surge of illegal immigration, he should look no farther than that the Biden Administration’s systematic sabotage of immigration law enforcement.
Many illegal alien advocates in the media, like this one, are peddling the false narrative that the administration is trying to control the border. This misinformation helps to keep citizens from criticizing Biden for the disaster now unfolding—which enables him to keep on promoting it. In the end, the administration and the media are on the same team, working for the same goal—a borderless America.
