Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) maintains that amnesty legislation, which he labels “immigration reform,” can still pass this year. He also claimed that this would be a positive agenda for Republicans. McCain was one of the “gang of eight” senators who pushed the Senate’s amnesty/immigration increase bill through to passage.
