Citizens expecting the new GOP-run Congress to defund Obama’s amnesty in January may soon be disappointed, say Washington observers. Despite public outrage and almost universal condemnation of Obama’s illegal actions by Republicans in Congress, GOP leaders in the House and Senate are said to be quietly planning to allow the Obama amnesty to proceed.
A congressional GOP aide told Breitbart News that he expects GOP leaders to allow a “show vote” on defunding the amnesty program to allow GOP members to go on the record against the executive amnesty, followed by procedural steps to replace the defunding language with phony “border security” language.
