A new Gallup poll reveals that Americans rank immigration as the greatest problem facing our country. Twenty-eight percent affirm this view, followed by 20 percent who cite the government, and 12 percent who cite the economy.
Fifty-five percent of Americans, a record high, say that illegal immigration is “a critical threat to U.S. vital interests.” Ninety percent of Republicans agree with this view, 54 percent of independents, and 29 percent of Democrats.
