Last year dishonest press reports claimed that mounted Border Patrol agents used “whips” against illegal aliens crossing the Rio Grande River. In reality the alleged whips were horse reins which were not used to strike anyone. Nevertheless, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is expected to punish the agents anyway.
Brandon Judd, who heads the union that represents Border Patrol agents, expressed outrage at this turn of events. In an interview with Fox News, Judd stated that “[President Biden] doesn’t like the Border Patrol. He has never liked the mission of the Border Patrol. And now he is going after these agents because he panders to open border activists. This should never happen in this country.”
