Deportations of Criminal Aliens Decline

Arrests and deportations of criminal aliens declined 30 percent since last year, according to data released by House Judiciary Committee Chairman Robert W. Goodlatte (R-VA). The data also reveal that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) released 30,558 criminal aliens it was holding. They had a total of nearly 80,000 convictions, including 250 homicides, 186 kidnappings and 373 sexual assaults. The Obama Administration has justified its leniency toward most illegal aliens by claiming that wanted to focus resources on those who are dangerous criminals.
