Buttigieg Seeks ‘Compensation’ for Detained Illegal Aliens

Left-wing homosexual presidential aspirant Pete Buttigieg said American taxpayers should have to pay “compensation” to illegal aliens caught with minors breaking into the U.S. who were then jailed in separate facilities to await court hearings.

“The United States owes something to the kids in that situation. First of all, of course, to swiftly reunite them with their families. But we probably owe them a little more than that given what we’ve done. In fact, we definitely we owe them more than that,” said Buttigieg.

Democrat Buttigieg apparently opposes long-standing U.S. criminal justice policy.  People in the U.S., including citizens, who bring their children with them while breaking the law are always separated when apprehended.  The U.S. does not incarcerate children with adult criminals.

The candidate, who is mayor of South Bend, Indiana, did not say how much money U.S. taxpayers should be forced to give to the illegal aliens. “We need to make sure that they have compensation and that we do things to try to make it right,” he said.

Buttigieg is not the only left-wing radical to call on the U.S. government to provide compensation to illegal aliens arrested at the border. The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) filed a lawsuit in early October, demanding the Trump administration provide punitive and compensatory damages to illegals who were separated in detention.
