In 2015 Joe Biden affirmed his support for mass immigration, and specified one of his reasons for doing so. He stated: “It’s not going to stop,” Biden said. “Nor should we want it to stop. As a matter of fact, one of the things I think we can be most proud of.
“An unrelenting stream of immigration. Nonstop, nonstop. Folks like me who are Caucasian, of European descent, for the first time in 2017 we’ll be an absolute minority in the United States of America. Absolute minority. Fewer than 50 percent of the people in America from then and on will be white European stock. That’s not a bad thing. That’s a source of our strength.”
If President Trump had endorsed an immigration policy to decrease the percentage of blacks, Hispanics and Asians–saying this would be a source of national strength–would the media have called that racist? Biden was factually wrong to claim that white minority status would happen in 2017. If current immigration continues, that is projected to take place around 2040.
