One out of every five illegal aliens caught at the U.S.-Mexican border has a criminal record, and just 40% of that border is under “operational control,” the head of the Border Patrol agents’ union told Congress on Wednesday.
Brandon Judd, president of the National Border Patrol Council, testifying before a House committee, said the level of violence and criminal activity at the border refutes the claim by the Obama administration that border security is greatly improving.
