Clinton: Limiting Immigration ‘Un-American’

According to Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, Americans who want to limit immigration are “fundamentally un-American.” This statement was from a transcript of her speech in 2013 to the executives of Goldman Sachs recently made public by WikiLeaks. The speech praised the 2013 “gang of eight” legislation as “immigration reform.” That measure, which did not become law, would have granted amnesty to illegal aliens and substantially increased legal immigration. Said Clinton in her speech, “What I really resent about the [immigration] obstructionists is that is that they have such a narrow view of America. . . . I don’t care what they call themselves. . . . They have to be rejected because they are fundamentally un-American.”
