As the Biden Administration prepares to end Title 42 on thursday, illegal immigration is surging across the border. Title 42, enacted during the pandemic for public health reasons, allows allows speedy deportation of illegal aliens without considering their usually bogus asylum claims.
In the past ten days, according to the Border Patrol, 73,000 illegal migrants crossed the Mexican border, along with 17,000 others who got away without being processed–thus making a total of 9,000 a day. With Title 42 gone, officials estimate that the daily total could rise as high as 13,000.
