A day after Rep. Eric Cantor (R-VA) lost his seat largely due to his support for amnesty, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) reaffirmed his support for “immigration reform” during a conference call with Michael Bloomberg’s pro-amnesty group and notorious open borders “conservative” Grover Norquist. Paul reportedly said that the word “amnesty” had trapped those wanting immigration reform, and that compromise was needed to get it passed.
Earlier that day, Rush Limbaugh stated on his radio show that when politicians say “immigration reform” what they really mean is amnesty. Paul has previously suggested giving work visas to all the illegals, but not a path to citizenship.
