Illegals Now Wave Down Border Patrol, Expecting to Be Released

Under the Obama regime, it has finally come to this: the U.S. Border Patrol, once feared and avoided by illegal aliens, is now sought out by illegals who expect to be released in the U.S.  Once released on their promise to appear for a hearing, they can decide if they will just disappear or, if a minor, show up for their first hearing with the free lawyer supplied by the administration.

The Los Angeles Times reported on an illegal from Guatemala, Yoselin Ramos, who, along with 20 other families with children, said she “looked forward to being caught” because they had heard “that parents with children will not be detained in the U.S. if they arrive with a child.” The Times reported that the illegal aliens are released and told to appear before ICE officials on a date within 15 days: “ICE officials say that the immigrants are released as long as they can provide an address for their destination — with family or friends, no matter their legal status.”

ICE officials admit they do not pursue all cases where the released illegals fail to show up for hearings.
