As illegal aliens keep pouring into New York City, the Big Apple continues to pay a price for its sanctuary policy. That policy prevents local authorities from cooperating with federal immigration law enforcement. Weak enforcement gives illegals a safe space, thereby encouraging them to come.
A big problem the city has is finding places where the newcomers can stay. Mayor Eric Adams has come up with an interesting proposal. He suggests paying private homeowners to house the illegal migrants. A questioner asked a spokesman for mayor if he would be willing to take some of them into his home. The spokesman didn’t reply.
