ICE agents in August raided seven chicken plants in Mississippi, and rounded up 680 suspected illegal aliens. The federal government filed court documents charging that the companies knowingly hired unauthorized workers. A recent poll found that two-thirds of Mississippians believe that the owners of the plants should be prosecuted.
