In a settlement with the Justice Department, Facebook will pay fines exceeding $14 million for discriminating against U.S. workers to hire foreigners. As part of the settlement Facebook agreed to make a greater effort to employ Americans. The social media company will be under federal scrutiny to do so for up to three years.
