Illegal Alien Advocates Demand ‘Rights’

An illegal alien advocacy group, United We Stay, is demanding a "Bill of Rights" for illegal aliens. One is an end to deportations of "all law-abiding undocumented Americans." Evidently this group doesn't consider immigration laws to be laws. They also demand in-state tuition at public colleges, medical care, and "wage equality." They say they are entitled to these benefits because they have "human rights." They make no mention of native-born citizens having rights.

TPP Would Give U.S. Jobs to Foreigners

Despite previous denials from its supporters, the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade-deal would allow more foreign professionals to take jobs in the U.S. Rosemary Jenks of the restrictionist group NumbersUSA observed that if Congress passes TPP "it would create an huge new market for service companies to use existing laws to hire foreign service professionals for jobs in the United States, and it creates a new international committee that can make immigration changes."

Sessions: H-1Bs Are ‘Tremendous Threat’

Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) says the H-1B program is a "tremendous threat" to U.S. professionals. This program which allows U.S. companies to import foreign tech workers to fill jobs. The companies claim that there are not enough qualified Americans available to do the work. But much evidence shows otherwise. The program, says Sessions, “represents the obliviousness of Congress and some . . . economic forces to the reality of what’s happening: Half of [U.S.] STEM [science, technology, engineering and math] graduates are not finding jobs in STEM fields,”

Top Diplomat: Uncontrolled Migration a Threat to Europe

Uncontrolled migration from the Middle East is posing a significant danger to Europe, said prominent diplomat John Negroponte, who has served as U.S. representative to the UN. A better policy, he argued, is resettlement of immigrants closer to home. Said Negroponte, "The closer you keep the refugees and the displaced people to their countries of origin, the greater the chance you have of ensuring and helping them get back to their country once the fighting has ended."

MN Governor Displays Contempt for Citizens

Minnesota's Gov. Mark Dayton expressed bigotry and contempt toward citizens of his state who question who question refugee resettlement and other steps toward "diversity." He said they were intolerant racists who "should find another state." Dayton is a Democrat, and many in his party view "diversity" as a means of replacing the native-born American electorate with voters more congenial to the aims of their party.

Protests Rise against Refugee Resettlement

Citizens around the country are protesting proposals to resettle refugees, particularly Syrian Muslims, in their communities. Refugee resettlement programs typically enrich the religious organizations that administer them. After resettlement those organizations have no obligation to provide for the people they settle. The communities at that point have to pick up the public assistance tab for the refugees.
