In response to the Supreme Court’s announcement that it will rule on President Obama’s edict granting legal status to million of illegal aliens, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton reaffirmed that this edict is “clearly” unconstitutional. Texas is one of 26 states challenging the Obama’s action in court. Paxton stated, “Congress has the constitutional authority to change the law.” If the Obama edict is allowed to stand, he maintained, “then any president can come along and change any law and make Congress pretty much irrelevant.”
