Texas Gov. Gregg Abbott said he will increase the numbers of illegal aliens he’s sending by bus to New York City and Washington, D.C. Both are “sanctuaries” for illegal aliens, where police are forbidden to cooperate with immigration law enforcement. The governor maintains that these migrant-friendly cities should be happy to receive them.
The transportation program is called Operation Lone Star. A release from Abbott’s office stated that “The busing mission is providing much-needed relief to our overwhelmed border communities. Operation Lone Star continues to fill the dangerous gaps left by the Biden Administration’s refusal to secure the border.”
