Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) claims that America requires mass immigration to compete with China. He stated, “If you look at our ability to try to keep up with the rise of China, there’s no way to do that — unless you continue to bring to America the smartest, best, hardworking people from all around the world.”
Murphy didn’t explain how America will “keep up with China” if mass immigration continues to fracture our national unity. Also, he didn’t explain how China manages to be our rival when that country takes in very few immigrants. China’s rulers have decided to develop and utilize the talents of the Chinese people. Unfortunately, America’s ruling elites lack a similar commitment to Americans.
