Bill Melugin has posted to Twitter video of a high-speed chase of a smugglers’ vehicle in Eagle Pass, Texas.
Pursued by a Texas state trooper, the vehicle runs several traffic lights and stop signs on its way to the Rio Grande, where the smugglers abandon it and escape back into Mexico.
The migrants themselves were arrested, their fates unknown, but don’t be surprised if they’re allowed to stay.
