The small border county of Brooks TX, south of Corpus Christi, faces bankruptcy due to the increasing cost of rescuing illegal aliens and picking up the bodies of those who die in the featureless terrain where temperatures can reach 110 degrees. The Obama regime provides no financial aid to the poor county, population 7100, to deal with the immigration problem it tries to handle with only four deputies.
Local rancher Mike Vickers says the Obama DREAM amnesty for young illegals and continued talk of a mass amnesty have increased the flow of illegals, particularly minors and Central Americans.
