Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) says that his party’s “strategy” on immigration has a shortcoming. Could that possibly be its systematic dismantling of immigration law enforcement on our southern border? Unfortunately, no.
The source of his concern is that the party “has failed to deliver for the people we care about most, the undocumented Americans that are in this country.” Sen. Murphey didn’t explain how a genuine American can be “undocumented,” i.e., illegal.
