Mexican President Proposes Union

President Andrés Manuel López Obrador proposes that all of North America be merged into one political and economic entity. Obrador stated during a recent press conference that “I will go in July to visit [President Joe Biden] at the White House and I want to discuss with him the issue of the integration of all America. My position is that, just as how the European community was created . . . we have to do that in America.”

This proposal appears to be a revival of the North American Union promoted twenty years ago by U.S. President G.W. Bush and Mexican President Vicente Fox. Many commentators believe that the European Union and North American Union are building blocks for a one world government.
