Drew Hernandez, investigative reporter for Turning Point USA, has released a recent video showing hundreds of illegal migrants and drug runners crossing at will into the United States near Yuma, Arizona.
The video, taken around 4:00 am, June 10, shows, by Hernandez’s estimate, at least 800 men, women, and children, walking calmly through a gap in the border wall then waiting on the U.S. side for a ride on a Border Patrol bus to a processing center. There, most will apply for asylum and be released with no more than a promise to stay in touch with authorities as they begin new lives in America.
The video, about 22 minutes long, is instructive in that it shows how the constant flow of migrants from around the world has become so normalized and routine that no one is even surprised at it anymore.
To which we say, this is no way to run a country.
