California Gov. Gavin Newsom announced that he will allocate $75 million in state funds to provide cash payments to illegal aliens. Each recipient will get $500.
Illegal aliens were excluded from the federal stimulus payments which allocate $1,200 to most Americans. In defense of his decision Newsom stated, ““We feel a deep sense of gratitude for people that are in fear of deportations.”
