ICE Deletes ‘Illegal Alien’

Under the Biden Administration, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) directed that illegal aliens will no longer be referred to as “aliens” or “illegal aliens” in its official documents. Henceforth, ICE will require the political correct term “undocumented noncitizen.” Illegal alien advocates wish to manipulate language in this fashion to give the impression that breaking U.S. immigration law is not a crime, but simply a matter of not having one’s documents in order.

This change comes despite the fact that U.S. law uses the word “alien,” as in Title 8 of the U.S. code entitled “Aliens and Nationality.”
