Victor Davis Hansen is a historian and a political commentator. He has spoken out against illegal immigration, particularly as it has impacted his native state of California. Hansen maintains that illegal immigration continues unchecked because that is what our elite classes want.
In a recent video he explained the mindset of these self-anointed aristocrats in the United States and other Western countries. With their money and position, he explains, they see themselves as above the restraints of popular rule. Hansen describes them as “very dangerous people” who have “hatred and distain” for the middle classes of their respective countries.
The elites have no respect for national borders, Hansen maintains, because “They are international globalists. They have no empathy for their countrymen. [And] they have no empathy for their national traditions.”
